A retired Blacksmith wants to sell off his remaining equipment. 3 anvils (1- 152 lb Peter Wright in excellent condition with stand). A custom-built 4’ x 8’ layout table with a custom clamping system (30 clamps). This table was designed for fabricating and has a 1” thick top to remain truly flat. Because of this, the table weighs in at over 1 ton. Fireplace doors were my bread and butter, so over the years, I did everything I could to build better and better doors. Frame jigs to make it easier and save time, and jigs to stretch the screen. So tight in fact that I could bounce a 25’ measuring tape off the screen like a rubber ball. Jigs for setting rivets. A jig for cutting true arches for the top of doors. 3 different designs for building frames to fit the fireplace openings. These proven techniques work and will be provided to the smith who buys this equipment.
The largest blacksmith vise I have ever seen, complete with a custom stand to mount to the floor. Three welders, a 210 Miller MIG welder also set up for aluminum, a suitcase TIG for job sites, and a Miller 250 syncrowave TIG. Both TIGs are set up with articulating torches for fine detail welding. A German-made coping machine for railings in any metal. I did a 1” thick glass bridge and needed to grind the glass, so the machine easily converts to glass grinding with wet belts. Enough belts for glass and metal go with the machine to last for years. As I had a small shop, the table, welders, and coping machine are on wheels. There are more hand tools than I can count, with a blacksmith stake set. Hand power tools to shorten your work times. I worked with all metals, so there are thousands of dollars’ worth of metal supplies, including bronze, copper (32oz), and stainless steel. There are enough sample pieces to cover over two table tops for you to use or copy for your needs, all the way up to sample fireplace doors. Furniture comes with the equipment for your convenience when talking to prospective clients. There is a large white oak roll top desk, a beautiful hand-painted cabinet for samples, a custom-made cherry table, and four chairs for clients to sit while you show them samples and talk prices. There are a lot of antiques for decoration in your showroom area. I’m asking $45,000.
