Penland School of  Craft in North Carolina is requesting donations to make the campus operational again and words of encouragement for the staff and volunteers undertaking this massive effort.

George Dixon, former head blacksmith at Samuel Yellin Metalworkers and editor of Hammer’s Blow magazine, died tragically when flood waters swept through his home, destroying everything. His surviving family is taking donations to help with the recovery.
