Northern Rockies Blacksmiths Association

September 19-21, in Missoula, Montana. 

This Fall conference will focus on the Fly press and how to make tooling. Along with this, the participants will collectively come up with a sculpture to create with the Fly press.

Nathan Kimpell, an artist-blacksmith living in Missoula for the past 32 years, will be the demonstrator. Nathan and his assistant, Gavi Lightsey, recently finished an 80′ forged fence of wildflowers and grasses from 1018 steel and silicon bronze.
