National conferences traditionally were held every other year in locations across the United States. The first ever Iron to Art Festival was held in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 2021 celebrating the home office relocating to Johnstown.
ABANA hosts online tutorials and/or coaching sessions via Zoom as part of our educational outreach. Classes range from fun how-to sessions, such as how to forge animal heads, to more in-depth instruction on the National Curriculum.
As part of our mission to promote the art of blacksmithing and showcase contemporary forged work, we display a gallery of work during our conferences and host and support exhibitions touring North America.
