After the Conference: Level II National Curriculum Class at Touchstone Center for Crafts Come for the ABANA Conference, Stay for the Class at Touchstone! Join instructors Mark Aspery and Victoria Ritter for this project-based workshop centered on Level II of the ABANA National Blacksmith Curriculum. Arts Coalition of the Alleghenies The mission of the Arts Coalition of the Alleghenies is to collaboratively schedule, market and advocate for the arts community in the Allegheny region. The organization works together with member artists and arts organizations to encourage complementary programming and cooperative promotion efforts. For artists – that means maximum visibility. For art lovers – that means the ability to find out about all of the area’s classes, exhibits, and performances in one location. Theme: Tools as Art Blacksmiths, artists, and makers often love great tools. In this exhibition, we want to explore tools as the medium, the meaning, and the art itself.
