Grants & Funding

The ABANA Grant Program is being revamped for 2025 to provide more funding opportunities!

The next application cycle will open June 1 with an application due date of June 30, 2025. Grant recipients will be notified July 7, 2025.

Going forward 2 grant cycles per year will occur in January and June.

Education Grants:

  • $500 each 
  • Must be a current ABANA member 
  • Can be used for:
    • Blacksmithing class tuition or blacksmithing college degree program
    • Travel costs associated with blacksmithing program (gas/flight/etc)
    • Resource materials (Books/DVDs)
    • Materials & supplies required for educational purposes

Conference/Public Event Support Grant:

  • $250 Each
  • Must be a current ABANA member 
  • Can be used for:
    • Participation fees (entry fees/booth fees)
    • Travel costs to the event 
    • Housing costs during the event
    • Food costs during the event 
    • Materials & supplies required to participate in the event or needed for public demo purposes
