CBA Spring Conference

April 9-13, 2025, at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, California.

  • Adrian Legge, of the UK, will be one of the demonstrators, with Dennis Dusek striking.
  • Bill Roan will also bring equal parts humor and blacksmithing skills to the event.
  • Ira Houseweart, blacksmith and bladesmith from Colorado and two-time Forged in Fire Champion will show his architectural and sculptural work and his splendid blades.
  • Bette Barnett will demonstrate bonding gold and silver to carbon steel using a process called Keum Boo. The contrast of the precious metal foil against the deep black of patinated steel results in a high-impact way to add a bit of bling to your work.
  • ABANA is teaming up with the CBA education committee to bring National Curriculum hands-on training and demos to the conference.
